2020 Brillante Sparkling Wine

Tasting Notes:

“Brillánte”, which translates to “Brilliant” in Spanish, is Castillo de Feliciana’s signature sparkling wine. Produced from 100% Albariño and harvested early in autumn, “Brillánte” shines platinum blonde capped by a tight mousse. Generous effervescence carries fruity aromas of sweet Anjou pear, candied lemon, Acacia honey, and floral honeysuckle.  The body of the wine is light, possessing bright acidity that is balanced gently with 1.5% residual sugar. Much like a crystal clear nighttime sky, the “starry” finish is clean, crisp, and refreshing. Enjoy as a starter with light foods, roasted poultry dishes, and Manchego macaroni and cheese.
