2017 Graciano

Tasting Notes:

Graciano, the newest Spanish varietal in the Castillo family lineup, pours deeply pigmented with purple-black highlights. Enticing aromas of black cherry, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee wrap around black pepper and floral perfume. Although dark and brooding in first impression, this Graciano boasts a bright, fresh fruit middle, stemming from Graciano’s natural high acidity. The finish is persistent, with luscious, silken textures and flavors reminiscent of cured pipe tobacco. Drink now, or cellar properly until 2032.
